2021 Topps All-Star Rookie Cup Baseball Cards Checklist

4 star, I think it is a really great product. However I have a question, does anyone know what the CMP Code 049735 refers to?

The reason for my 2 star grade of these specific cards is very simple . Foil cards grade very poorly . Some of these cards do look nice but in the end they are low grade garbage cards . Foil cards always have and always will be garbage . Don’t forget about the fact that they look like crap as well with all the wrinkles in the foil . The Topps Company just plays on the fact that the rookie card is the end all and be all of the card collecting world . They know that there are a lot of people out there that are suffering from OCSCB , ” obsessive compulsive sports card buying ” .Worse yet , there are the severely delusional people that will pay outrageous card flipper prices for crappy foil cards that won’t be worth jack poop a couple years from now . Low numbered parellel or image variations or auto’s or any combination of the aforementioned , you cannot polish a turd . I did enjoy the way that the Topps Company released them first through the 582 Montgomery Club and then released to the public the very next day . More manipulation from the Topps Company directed at the poor souls suffering from OCSCB . I’ve noticed that the card flippers are having blast on EBay with their typical 300 – 800% mark – up on all the cards that are tell – tale marked as , ” pre – owned ” . I would suggest saving your money for the 2022 Bowman Chrome 1st cards . At least if you pick a couple players correctly you have a good chance of some real value appreciation and a chance to enhance your collection with quality cards . Jim

Product of the Year for me by a country mile. Absolutely the best bang for your buck at MSRP, beautifully foiled cards make for an attractive set. Mix in lots of gorgeous foil parallels such as the orange and base foilfractors with image variations and sp’s falling often and you have a real winner. I wish they could all be this good!

How can you not have Randy Arozarena or Wander Franco in this set? Without them this is garbage.

Topps picked Mark McGwire and Jose Canseco as the representatives for the Oakland A’s. Guess they forget about HOFer’s Reggie Jackson, Jim Hunter, Rollie Fingers and Rickey Henderson eh? At least they could have included Walt Weiss, who followed Canseco and McGwire to make it 3 in a row for the A’s.
