2021-22 Upper Deck Artifacts Hockey Cards Checklist and Odds

Just started this Hobby with my hockey player son. First ever Artifacts Box (Hobby) and had so much fun! Nice hits and one that couldn´t find in any listings?!

Now just wondering how much could this be worth ;)

Finally decided to buy a hobby box for the first time ever. Was not impressed! Couple low value basic jersey cards and 4 high numbered parallels. Also a stupid aurum card. Best card was a Mike Modano #50. Yay…..Also it says 4 cards per pack. Most only had 3 with the cardboard piece. 1 had 5 of just base cards. I kept looking for the value based on what this costs… Nowhere to be found!! Save your hard earned money!!!! Never again!!!

Bought a hobby box from my local dealer.. 5 cards were missing (one pack had just 1 lonely base card!).. very disappointed and not worth the price at all

Pulled a green Aurum parallel of Drew Doughty #’d to 25. Is this unannounced? Couldn’t find it in the checklist.

If you REALLY want Artifacts, don’t waste your money on the retail product and just get a hobby box. The retail product is a total scam. 6 blasters resulted in ONE un-signed patch. That’s 42 packs and not a single auto, aurum, or even a single numbered card. Just base cards and the ‘blaster exclusive’ teal parallel which means nothing. I’ll sleeve the rookies and not bother with this product again.

Bought 2 boxes.
Jack Eichel Sabres card out of 65. Nobody wants this.
Jake Bean auto on Carolina. No longer there.
Taylor Hall jersey card on Edmonton. He has played with New Jersey, Buffalo, Boston since.
Worse received an Aurum card as insert in the place of an auto. Miserable.
Ridiculous. This should be a $75 product.

Busted a case of Artifacts with not the best of results. Multiple cards were miss-cut and collation of numbered cards was beyond bad! Four 999 Denisenko rookies and Four 499 Huberdeau numbered cards as example. Only two autos in the entire case but at least one was Zach Parise numbered to 5, other just a common worth $5.00 One patch of Bertuzzi numbered to 65. Clear cut rookie was the Sabre goalie. That was about it. Not worth the price since UD cut back on the number of autographs in the product.

I didn’t get a stellar box but for value and fun factor it works for me. Maybe will pick up another. The redemptions are in name only as they are redeemed and included in each box or a Acetate. Not a send in Redemption, just bad marketing.

Best value for the money by far for this years Hockey product

Oh, there will be redemptions. No doubt. And yes, the added parallells are there to water down the product.

But, collectors complain, then buy UDs crap anyway, UD makes a ton of money and just keep pushing prices up and quality down.

No way they are releasing this so late and still having redemptions in it…..
if they do its the worst embarrassment of anything they have ever done.. and thats saying something

Upperdeck has turned this once great product into junk. Nobody wants Aurum cards. The new parallels are so they can make more boxes and cases, spreading all the good stuff even thinner. Your going to spend $125-$175 or more to get a couple parallels, 2 jersey cards and a worthless rookie redemption in an average box. A bad product getting worse every year.

Great set, always has fun hits and great memorabilia cards. They design is excellent as well

Why are there redemption rookie cards when this product is to be released “after” UD Series One which will have live rookie cards in packs? Just print the RCs and put them in packs and save us the aggravation of redeeming and waiting.

The odds for base autographs have increased from 1:38 to 1:67. Not too impressed with that, but we’ll see how the product is. Maybe my rating is a little harsh.
