Although initially planned for the 2020 National Sports Collectors Convention (NSCC) in Atlantic City, the 2020 Upper Deck Summer Promo set gives the exclusive cards a second life for collectors.
The multi-sport series highlights top stars in the UD stable along with multiple NHL players.
2020 Upper Deck Summer Promo Set Details
Given that the 2020 National was canceled, Upper Deck had to switch gears for the annual promotion. Instead of the standard NSCC wrapper redemption, the packs are provided to Authorized Internet Retailers, Authorized Group Breakers and Upper Deck Diamond Club members.
Despite this change, the format is very similar to past editions. The main 2020 Upper Deck Summer Promo set is the multi-sport Prominent Cuts line, which pays tribute to the planned AC venue via the playing card design.
There are also NHL inserts available with Top Shelf Rookies and Draft Retrospective.
Premium hits include 20 signed versions that are all numbered to 100 copies or less.
