2020 Topps Utz Baseball Set Details

Unlike the 2019 promo set, 2020 Topps Utz Baseball does not use the flagship MLB design. Instead, the look is more simplified with a striped border and a large team nameplate above the player's name. That might be especially appealing to those who don't like the borderless approach found in 2020 Topps Series 1 Baseball.

The 100-card base set offers top stars and rookies from across the league.

2020 Topps Utz Baseball Cards 1

While there is nothing on the front to note them as being from the Utz set, backs feature the brand's name above the card number.

2020 Topps Utz Baseball Cards 2

The packaging is marked as having exclusive Topps trading cards inside.

2020 Topps Utz Baseball Cards 3

Formats include the 12-bag and 24-bag Snack Pack packaging. Many thanks to Mark for the bag images.

Release Date: March 2020
Product Configuration: 3 cards per pack

Card design, player selection, player photo selection (great photography), and relatively limited production make this an excellent set.

This is what the second year this product has come out but are very, very, very, hard to find in there chip products. in my mind why make them if you don’t place there product for all to buy and i am from NYS

I think these cards are great . The front of the card actually has a border and it’s a different pic of the player than the Topps Series 1 cards . Utz has a pretty big distribution area nationwide as we have them here in Wisconsin at Piggly Wiggly . Don’t really believe the SP business I’m seeing on eBay , but eBay sellers label every card an SP . 15 RC cards out of a 100 card set isn’t bad at all . Good job Utz for not following Topps Opening Day with same old pic of player .

I will have to be on the lookout for these. Not sure if we’ll get them in upstate NY, but the design is a lot easier on the eyes than the flagship Topps product.

This set is an absolute beast, I’ve gone through a ton of these bags and it appears that the rcs fall 1 per case which is six $4 bags, trout is severely sp’d as are the rookies

I like the design and as it says Utz on the back
no one should have any problem identifying
them. There are only 3 cards per pack not
4 as stated in Product Configuration.

Found them today in 12 pack bags like last year. Bummed no Utz logo on the card :(

I really like the 2020 Topps UTZ cards especially since the set has it’s own unique design. If you wish to buy some on eBay I would wait for a little bit since some of the asking prices seem very unrealistic. My only criticism is the absence of the UTZ logo on the front of the card like 2019 edition.
