2020 Topps Holiday Baseball Mega Box Cards

Lots of hits, tons of rookies, fun card design. Should release in early December.

What are we thinking the print runs are on the super rare parallels (sssp)? I pulled a Trout Santa belt and was wondering.

Always like this product for the price point. $22 bucks if you can find it in stores and you get 100 cards – 1 of which is a relic, auto, or relic & auto. Lots of little photo variation gimmicks to watch out for as well. It would be cool to have a comprehensive list for all of those because they can be tough to spot. I had to look on the back for the codes just to be sure. Fun product to rip if you dont mind the snowflakes getting in the way of the photography =)

Another dead product. When people quit buying from the flippers there will be produce at the retail level.They buy everything and charge 2 to 3 times what they paid for it. STOP buying from these greed-mongers.

Some collation data for you: Two boxes: Base Set: 170 of 200 (85%) overall, five metallic and two SP photo variations per box. Small notes: the metallic card embossing isn’t as pronounced as in previous years and really doesn’t “sparkle” like in past, but is easily felt when you pass finger over surface of card. Watch duplication across boxes. I picked two adjacent boxes that were neatly arranged out of the 6 that made it to my Wal-Mart, but I’ve heard stories of virtually duplicate boxes (90+ cards the same) from either mixed up shelves or separate Wal-Marts. Love the red/green nameplates with garland. Ornaments are oversized, so kinda cool, but will be weirder to store/protect. Overall: Glad it finally showed up, but not as impressed as previous years given the timing and stories of poor collation across (but not within) boxes. I think I got lucky picking two boxes that probably had not been moved since being shelf placed.

Love the product. Opened a box with lots of rookies. I have a question. I believe I pulled a super rare Luis Robert but can’t seem to find the card online anywhere. He is wearing a Christmas lights necklace and his name is going down the right side not the left, like all of the cards I see on the internet. It does have a 73 code. Has anyone else come across this card?

One more question, I got 2 cards of Fernando Tatis, Jr. One shows base card, Cmp 65, the other shows Cmp 71, short print. I’ve stared at them a while, I see no difference other than the cmp code. Anybody see what I missed???

4 stars, but I have a question. I got a Juan Soto card, CMP ends in 73. I know 71 is short print, 72 is rare short print, and super rare is TBD. Could it be 73?

I apologize for my last “review” question. I assumed since my question had not been answered, you thought I was saying something that should not be printed. My answer usually seemed to pop up right away and I was afraid I had offended you in some way and that was not my intent. I was just frustrated at Walmart and Topps for not answering my queries. Thanks again for all your help. You didn’t deserve that. Again, I hope you will accept my apology.

I’ve seen these on E-bay for $70.00 per box, however, they still are not at Walmart or on their website and haven’t even seen them on Topps website. What gives? How can e-bay get them before they supposedly haven’t been released yet. What is happening to our hobby?

Looks like this still isn’t out, so the “holiday” release will oddly miss the holiday entirely – which isn’t surprising given the year. Hoping it still makes it out the door, I look forward to at least grabbing the Nats teamset as I have in past years.

I clicked on the Walmart “Buy from Walmart” on this page, clicked on it and it says Walmart is out of stock. How can they be “out of stock” if they aren’t even out yet. I can’t even find them on Topps website.

These cards won’t show up until after Christmas. That way the kiddies who get cash from Santa will have something to waste it on then.

December 23rd. Where is that date coming from?
I have been checking for over a month. I really want to find them.

Geez, that is cutting really close for a December 23rd release date. Santa will have to work overtime to get all the children their cards in time for Christmas Morning.
