Its all about the chase, I bought a box got a Yordan Alverez auto, pricey yes, but high quality when the right card is pulled. so I give it a 55% out of a hundred, That a valued card is picked. 3 and a half stars for the quality 2 stars for the price. even 15 dollars less per box would have been a huge gamechanger. “And that’s the truth!” How do you spell “Pppttttthhhhhh!!!”

GO is Gone…”Bye!”

While the product itself is very nice, you don’t get very much for your money. If you’re someone who opens packs hoping for a decent pull to sell and make money, then this is for you. If you like to take your time and truly enjoy opening pack after pack, then this 4-card-per-pack-product is an easy pass.

Spending between $150-$200 for 10 seconds of joy isn’t something I normally equate with trading cards.

Overpriced sure, get some duds of course but very fun to rip

Instead of buying 30 raw base rc of the next prospect that they’ve printed a million of, I like picking up any star player or certain rc from this set…

I love this product. Bought a few boxes from Topps.com and got more than my money back. Acuna refractor /199, Kyle Lewis refractor /99, Vlad jr., Yordan, Juan Soto Auto and more. Expensive in the secondary market but very high quality, beautiful product.

Brett
Brett

High quality with a reasonable number of potential hits. Encased autographed graphs add a nice touch!

Sure topps will over produce. topps dynasty was to have limited supplies. well, how many variations of patch cards of players /10. Let’s see at least 8 variations of patch cards #’d to 10, NOT ONE /10. Same with /5, 8 different at least, and the 1/1’s more than likely 8 1/1’s besides the tag patch 1/1

If I did the math right, the print run of the entire product is 45,400 boxes, and if each base autograph is printed in the same quantities, once you remove the parallels for the autographs, that would put the print run of the base autos at 144 (if you round down) or 145 (if you round up), making them more scarce than the refractor autos /150.

To follow up on my initial comments about this specific set of cards , $ 168.99 per 4 card pack at 1 pack per box at least brings the price per card down to $42.25 . Better than the pre – sale price .It’s really unbelievable what this hobby has evolved into . I have no option but to cherry pick on EBay . With tthe proper strategy , you can get the card or cards you want without breaking the bank .Not real crazy about the background design having absolutely nothing to do with the game of baseball and the auto cards with the Congratulations BS on the back of the card and no statistics will definitely effect the chance of future appreciation rates as well . Still a nice card and new . Jim

i like the design and the concept but it does seem a bit pricey for the amount of cards you get. I do find it funny that they would have Gavin Lux on the sell sheet as a future superstar auto but in the checklist he is not even on it with any autos

So in a 60 game season, we have had Topps Chrome. Chrome update. Chrome Ben Baller. Chrome Saphire and now Chrome Black. This is stupid! Where do people come up with this money? And thats not even including the Bowman sets. I’ll be saving my money for 2021 Series 1.

4 cards per pack, w/2 Base Cards. The breakers are going to crush this product.

James Stram

Firstly , the main reason for the 1 star rating is because at a pre – sale price of $288.00 for a box which contains 1 pack of 4 cards with 2 of those cards being base cards , until there is information on the checklist of these cards $ 72.00 per card seems Super Duper Ultra Catastrophic High End according to the information given so far on this product . I don’t think I missed anything when I did the math on these cards from what I read . The only thing that would make sense was if the cards were printed on chromed titanium .At this price , what would the starting bid price be for a base card on EBay be ? $50.00 ? I understand that this is the 1st year for these cards but I have a feeling that they will be for a small niche of wealthy individuals . It should be a good product for those who can afford them . Have fun with them Filthy Rich people , I hope you pull a good encased auto . Jim

Overpriced! What happened? Over $10 per pack of four cards?! Will be skipping this set for the first time.

This is the first time this set has ever been made. Are you meaning Topps Chrome rather than Topps Chrome Black? https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2020-topps-chrome-baseball-cards
