2020 Panini Mosaic Football Cards Checklist

I realize that this is my second inquiry concerning some of the mosaic parellel cards in this set Trey but I thought that I would just go ahead and ask you anyway , even if you decide not to reply . I am wondering if there is any way of figuring out how some of the mosaic colored parellel cards are seeded , like 1 card in every so many packs ? I am referring to the Camo Pink , Green , Genesis , Red , and also all of the non Ser . # d Reactive colors like Green , Blue , Gold , Orange ? The reason why I am interested in finding out is because some of the aforementioned non Ser . # d colored Mosaic parellel cards are selling for what I believe to be psychotic prices on EBay but yet once in a while you can get them on auction for what I believe to be reasonable prices . I’m hoping that you will have some kind of information on the odds of getting these cards that I have mentioned but I realize that it might boil down to production numbers also . As usual , many of these colored parellel cards listed on EBay have the old stand by , ” SP ” included in the title of the item . Traditional sucker – bait . I would appreciate any information you might have on these cards .

I really like the cards but price is now up to $1300 a box. I have never bought a box and never will as it does not make sense. I have bought several cards from this set while they were cheap. Currently the only card I am buying is the Jordan Love card as they can be had for only $2.

Hey Trey , what is the difference as far as the name of the silver refractor cards ? One is just a flat refractor and the other has all the rows of little refractive pyramid shapes . They must have different names because they look very different . Baseball is my specialty but I figured if anyone could answer my question about these football cards , it would be you . Hope to hear a reply from you concerning this matter . I have a theory about the difference between the two but I would rather know for a fact since there is no definitive information in the product details .

In reply to Strick9 , Topps used to have football cards for many years . As Panini football cards licensed by the NFL , grew to a wide variety of cards , Topps cards sales for football diminished year after year . The Topps Chrome cards were extremely nice and I believe were just as good , if not better than Panini but in 2015 or 2016 when the contract license that the Topps Company had with the NFL probably ended , so did the production of Topps football cards . I would not doubt that Topps decided to concentrate strictly on baseball and close down football cards .You are right about Panini baseball cards , who wants to see their favorite player without the team logos and just the city they came from but no team name ? If you keep track of the appreciation rates of Panini baseball cards you will see that they don’t appreciate because the collectors don’t buy or want them as they are basically junk . The best way to go for the average collector is Topps and Bowman Chrome for baseball and Panini Prizm for football . I’m sure that most collectors may not agree with my assessment but to each his own . If you’re a cherry – picker like me , you better get the cards that you want when they are first released and hit EBay and go up for auction to get a good deal . Once the card flippers get a hold of them the searching is all over , unless you want to pay 5 – 10 times what any card is worth . Only the feeble – minded buy from flippers . Jim

Would have got a 5 star, but as usual the parallels are very confusing. You list the Orange Fluorescent as numbered to 20. Becket lists it as numbered to 25. Since I’ve seen one numbered to 25, I’ll assume it’s supposed to #’d/25. I wish Panini would do better with the descriptions of all the parallels.

This product is WAY over priced. Just because 1 Burrow RC card sold for $500; or whatever, doesn’t mean another will. That just means someone was dumb enough to spend that much on a RC that might not “pan out” in a few years. RC QBs have been famous for that lately. That goes for any card. Not happy with the way pricing is going now-a-days, or availablity of products at the local WM, Target, etc…, Pricing is rediculous for most mid to high end products. I live where we have 5 WMs and 1 Target; and 1 Hobby card shop. When Mosaic came out, NOT 1 retail store had any Mosaic; EVER, only the the empty cardboard trays the blasters and Megas were set in. When I get to the local hobby shop; low and behold, they had so many blasters, megas, and fat packs, that they couldn’t keep them from falling off the shelves. All priced double from the WM pricing. I asked, “Why no hobby boxes?” Their reply, “Too expensive.” I asked, “What about all these retails?” Reply, “We went to all the Wal-Marts and Target and bought all they had before they was put out to the public.” That right there is proof of how and why most of the price gouging happening. I’m sure it not only happens in this town/city in the USA. I know how supply and demand works. In reality, there is no demand for cards; its originally just a hobby for the kids. Rich people or adults with a hole in their pockets can only afford the really nice products. Which means, it’s now a hobby for all people. Which means, kids get bottom/last choice. That sucks. Fortunately; for my 2 boys, I can afford most product. I only go for 1 high-end: Immaculate. And I only buy 2 boxes a year. Which I keep in our PC. I also know Panini is the best product for football and they suck for baseball. Topps and Bowman are the best in baseball and not available for football. That too effects pricing. Panini needs to step up in baseball and NFL needs to let Topps/Bowman into football. Pricing would lower a bit. I could rant all day long on this subject. Bottom line: Im not buying anything from local card shops. Only from wholesalers. And maybe some retail from WMs or Targets when their available for the boys.

Great looking cards, hobby boxes are too expensive I hunt retail boxes. I’ve pulled several Genesis cards. Is there an exact amount of them printed known?

Beautiful product! This is a nice addition to the football lineup….if you don’t want to spend a lot of money (on hobby version) there are some nice retail options that are complimentary to the hobby!

Not sure what the complains are about these. These are beautiful, and essentially is what got me starting to collect cards again.

I’m not sure the rookie variations are accurate. I have card #246. In both pictures, he’s in his Florida uniform, not his Jacksonville uniform. I believe the clue is the back. One is marked “prizm” and the other is not (top right of card). I believe the card marked “prizm” is the rookie variation.

Beautiful Product! Well done Panini! They did a great job of making the product available via high-end boxes and hard to find retail! We have really enjoyed the Prizm variations!

Product is LOADED with GREAT content. Its a money maker if you know what you are doing. Hobby box is best. Loaded with rookies……..get them graded.

Not spending that, this is a over priced NBA product crossing over. Chasing Zion rookies made this a flippers dream. Unless Burrows or one of the other QBs becomes TB12 or Peyton Manning this is a foolish endeavor for anyone who cares about value. Bought the base rookies of the players I wanted for a fraction of the hobby box cost. TONS of singles on Ebay with scratches and other errors. QC is a serious issue, over production the cause? New junk wax era? Beware

Great cards but the QC should be fired with all the flaws on the cards. I don’t think there will be many gem mints.

Got talked into a box! Man it was expensive. Autos were two no names and the colors were even worse. It was a gamble and in this case I lost the gamble

There are too many people who are new in the hobby who are being fooled by product like this. These cards are by far the ugliest cards that any NFL licensed manufacturer has ever produced. and the autograph list is pathetic for this price point. I saw 9 Max Ungers in a 2 case break… robbery by panini.
Panini does not trying to reduce their costs by trying to fool people that parallels (cost them nothing ) are of value when compared to Autographs or Relics..
Look at most of the Zion mem cards in Opulence and you can see that the pieces come from round number jersey patches.. his number is 1 — no curved patches.
The want to charge huge $ for some piece of a jersey that player has not come 100 miles near to..
The longtime loyal customers are going away as this is not worth their time..
the new collectors will lose a lot of money quick and be gone and never touch cards again and Panini will be left with no customers…all old and new ones gone.

The cheapest blaster box you can find right now with $70. It’s like buying a $70 scratch off ticket. If you happen to get a Joe burrow rookie, that’s only $50 right now on ebay. Avoid this and buy singles of the players you want when Prizm comes out. Only buy sealed boxes if you want to hold on to them for long-term speculation. I’m waiting for Prizm to buy four or five Joe Burrow rookies and maybe four boxes in case any other quarterbacks blow up.

Opened 4 boxes of this. Very easy to get most or all of your money back without any big hits. $700 for a box and there are tons of $50-100 cards of even RC RB’s or WRs’s. not sure what everyone is complaining about inserts. There are lots of parallels that are worth quite a bit. A base burrow goes for $100 still….

I agree with most of the other people. Way overpriced and overrated for what you get. Save your money folks.

For over $700/box, this is a complete ripoff. Unbelievable amount of damaged cards. Most of the autos pulled in our case were old time players, so of no value at all. Huge miss by Panini for a new release.

Boxes were sold out so I got two packs $30 each and I was happy I didn’t buy a box. Rookies are the only value unless you want veterans for your pc.

It’s basically Spectra with less hits, and yet it’s $700.. I honestly can’t fathom who’d even want this… It seems To be so popular in basketball because even veteran parallels have value in basketball, but only rookies are sought after in football so you can only lose money buying this

What’s the release date for regular Prizm.? There isn’t a spec of information on it for this year.

$800 a box for a $150 product. is there even a card worth $800 in Mosaic football ? or half of that. i doubt it unless Burrow or Tua becomes Pat Mahomes .

Why is Kyler getting an RC logo in a 2020 product ? Is this just to show us the design or are they doing that?

Will this replace Prizm football?
