2020-21 Panini Revolution Basketball Cards

Revolution is always a nice looking set. Wild inserts, and the rookies are consistently among the best looking “base” RC’s you can get. I wish they included legends in the base set like Prizm does (instead of too many traded players in the previous team’s jersey). I’d buy singles from this set over a box.

As others have mentioned, this product should not command the price it does. Cheap feeling wrappers, terrible pulls, ok stock, overly busy designs that make parallels almost unrecognizable, and no guaranteed hits (which I knew going into the purchase). This ain’t it, Panini.

Revolution cards have a great looking design making them unique in there own way.
Now, I hate to agree about high prices on card boxes but it’s a true fact that if box prices are high then individual card prices will be high, that’s a good and bad thing. The average Joe collector may not be able to afford box prices (Not my problem) but those of us who are avidly collecting are reaping profit on there card investment (Also depending on what player and card you pull) but the right card could bank you a few hundred or thousand profit. So agree to disagree or vise versa

Cards look great, the parallels are very nice. The range of available autographs and parallels are cool. However, it’s priced like a premium product and it’s not. The autographs are on stickers and not on card and there isn’t a grail in the set. If the price were less I’d be tempted to try a hobby box but a single pack with 5 cards for $50 is ludicrous when there’s not a single card that’s even worth $10 in most of the packs. This should be a $180 hobby box at most.

How rare are the “galactic” parallels? Are they case hits and just not numbered?

I guess you don’t have children that USE to collect cards with you. Your better of promising them a car in the future instead of buying over priced boxes of cards. Panini is using the same photo on different products also-how original !! Hoops boxes are already dropping as well as the singles and it will happen to the rest of Panini’s products also. Need Topps to get back into Basketball cards so we have a choice . Right now our choice is to pass and find something else to do with our hard earned dollars !!!!!!

When Panini sells a box of Donruss for $1000 – they are determining the market not the Hobbyist

Prices are high, but the print runs are still lower. So I guess we have to figure out what’s worse – higher prices and lower print runs or a flooded market with lower prices. I think I’ll just have to shift to only buying Hoops (first rookies, easier to complete a set) and Prizm, leaving everything else behind if prices stick to where they are.

I don’t buy boxes but I do get in on case breaks and get some incredible cards. I can’t afford to buy a box just to get a few cards. On breaks I can buy one or more teams and get cards from a whole case or half case.

I agree It’s time for everyone to stop buying. This is out of control and Panini is abusing the market. Try to get Panini to respond to a problem with redemptions or QC. They are the worst. Stop buying from them.

It is funny how people are crying about price of boxes, like if they are entitled to lower prices. If people are paying higher prices that’s the market.. price is determined by the market not Panini.. if you don’t like it find another hobby. lol

Bought a box. Way overpriced with very little value. Should be half the cost like last year, big miss Panini.

Did the complete set last year and bought 11 boxes. Very nice product but at $400 a box, sorry but I will not buy a single box this year. Prices are out of control and will continue to stay that way until collectors stop paying these insane prices. Good luck to you if you buy. I am out.
