User Rating:

If you normally see Utz chips on the shelves, check your snack aisle for 2019 Topps Utz Baseball promo cards. Just don't get any chip grease on the cards when you are opening them.

A common sight for those in the eastern portion of the United States, the regional chip brand is a staple of grocery stores and convenience stores across the East Coast. The specially-marked Snack Pack bags each include a pack of exclusive MLB cards. Every pack contains four cards and a Topps coupon.

2019 Topps Utz Baseball Set Details

Utilizing the 2019 flagship baseball design with an added Utz brand logo, the 2019 Topps Utz Baseball checklist features 100 players. There are a few rookies in the bunch, plus superstar Mike Trout as well as Rookie Cup cards for Juan Soto, Ronaldo Acuna Jr. and Shohei Ohtani.

2019 Topps Utz Baseball Cards 1

While the difference is minimal compared to the Series 1 cards and they all appear to have the same images from the flagship set, the cards do work with unique numbering in addition to the added logo.

Still, at just four cards per pack, collectors will have to eat a bunch of chips to build the full 2019 Topps Utz Baseball set.

Trey, nevermind my previous question. I found out it’s just the 12-Pack count of the Snack size bags of Utz chips that have the Topps Baseball Card Packs. Seems to me they would do this for the bigger bags of Utz chips too like the 9.5 oz. bags in which we have only bought before. In order to get in on this Utz promotion only the 12-Count snack size bags are included which is very limited if you ask me.

In my opinion, to make this seem more fair to a buyer Topps should allow Utz to include 2 baseball card packs per 12-Count snack size bags & then 1 baseball card pack per 9.5 oz. bag of chips. These chips are really good tasting & not cheap either so limiting to 1 pack for a 12-Count snack size purchase seems to fall short to me.

2 Packs for these & 1 Pack for the single bigger bags would be way more fair & also more attractive for potential buyers. I don’t know how many people have even heard of these chips but it you live in the Eastern part of the USA then you have probably heard of them & seen them in stores. Thanks.

This question is for Trey about this listing. Like I said in my previous reply we buy Utz chips quite often. However, we have only bought the big bags before.

Do you know if the small bags of Utz chips has this same promotion with one 4-card pack per bag of chips or is this just for the bigger bags? Thanks buddy.

I love this brand of chips & now I have an even bigger reason to go purchase a few bags or maybe a case of them for the baseball card packs. LOL!

wish there was more widespread variations available for direct purchase on the west coast like these. we have no UTZ packs like these, we have no Meijers for the purples. have to rely on ebay and elsewhere at most likely inflated prices. I know walgreens will eventually have yellows and there still are the targets and walmart variations.
