Giving the players a little more control over their jersey names, 2019 Topps Now MLB Players Weekend Baseball covers the annual event with small team sets that include a game-worn jersey relic.
From August 23 to 25, the players have a little extra fun with their names, and most of them seem to get into the spirit. Whereas past years have offered Little League-style jerseys with a lot of color, 2019 opts for a more basic contrast of black and white.
Part of the online-only 2019 Topps Now Baseball family, there are sets available for every team.
2019 Topps Now MLB Players Weekend Baseball Set Details
Sold for around two weeks direct from Topps, the 2019 Topps Now MLB Players Weekend Baseball checklist offers a six-card base set for each MLB team. These display exclusive Players Weekend photography.
The MLB website has a rundown of the nicknames for all the teams.
There is also a game-worn jersey relic card per set. In addition to the unnumbered base version, parallels are limited to 199, 99, 49, 25, 10, five and one.
All team sets sell for $39.99 apiece as supplies last or until the countdown timer runs out.

2019 Topps Now MLB Players Weekend Baseball Bonus
As was the case in 2018, there is also a bonus card element in 2019 Topps Now MLB Players Weekend Baseball. If the team in question puts together a six-game winning streak, a free bonus card is issued. This applies only to the remainder of the 2019 regular season.
2019 Topps Now MLB Players Weekend Baseball Autograph Relics
The on-card autograph relics came after the main set. They are sold individually for several of the players from the main checklist. Prices run a few hundred per card.
