2019 Topps Clearly Authentic Baseball Cards

This Product is totally hit and miss but mostly miss. I have been in some breaks and had had some success (Acuna /25 and Chipper T206 /30). I decided to buy a box and pulled a no name rookie auto that I can’t sell for $4.Thers is something wrong with that. $50 for a card that is worthless is just bad Topps. 2 stars only because I have had some good pulls in breaks.

This is one of the best value products of the year in my opinion. For $40-50 you get a guaranteed on card auto that is encased for protection. This leads to your card being most likely a Gem Mint card.
The checklist is great, it features the top rookies and inserts have hall of fame players. The parallels are plentiful. The T-206 cards are awesome. I’d give it a 4.5 but am rounding up to 5.

Lets look at some numbers…
using the 1/1s in this set

base
44 cards X 1024 per 1/1 = 45056 overall print run

1952
44 cards X 999 per 1/1 = 43956 overall print run

so therefore I would guess that closer to 44000 is more correct and that 1 of the base 1/1s was not put into packs.

1984
17 cards X 2219 per 1/1 =37723 overall packs….?

150yrs
13 cards X 3993 per 1/1 = 51909 overall packs…??

T206
41 cards X 1051 per 1/1 = 43091 overall packs

so which is it?

also look at the Green base cards #d to 99
cards
there are 44 base cards X 99 each means 4356 total Green parallel cards
if they are 1:4 packs then the total packs would only be 17424 packs made
does not make sense
assuming prod run is 44000 – using most common average from 1/1s
then if there are 4356 total Green base parallels — then odds of a Green base should be 1:10 and not 1:4
and so on….

TOPPS needs to hire some new mathematicians.
