2019 Topps Archives Signature Series Retired Player Edition Baseball Cards

Product is crap. Getting players that even with the auto are not worth the price. Should have spent my money elsewhere.

Its not worth it, but I’ve been picking up some nice ones off of eBay for pretty cheap. The biggest complaint I have is there are multiple 1/1 of each player. Yeah, its a different card, but it just kind of kills the joy of being a 1/1. I’ve been collecting the Steve Sax cards, and there have been at least 4 different ones I’ve seen on eBay. Finally won one for $35.

Horrific value. Most cards you won’t want to keep or have any interest in and if you try to sell them most can’t even sell on EBay. Even at .99 cents the shipping is too much for ppl to even want the $2-3 cards. Pass, Pass, Pass

They pick the wrong teams for many of the players. I get Juan González as a Cleveland Indian. Why? If you are going to get him to sign, get a card with him as a Ranger! He has much less value as an Indian. Also saw Trevor Hoffman as a Brewer. ???

I have yet to see a Will Clark card of any kind…

Another observation of this issue is that apparently Topps has had several of the veterans of previous year’s issue’s, like Jose Canseco among others, signing the same cards over and over again, which I suspect was originally done at the same time. What was a “1 of 1” card in 2017 or 2018 is now a “75 of 75” and the only difference is the foil stamping of the year, 2019, and the number of cards issued. It’s all about Topps making money.

Worst product I’ve seen all year. Been a part of a few breaks, and watched many more and the garbage that comes out is astounding. Great way for them to turn over 5 cent cards for a massive premium. Disgraceful.

An absolute waste of money. Watched several boxes broken at my local card shop and the best I saw was a Derek Lee pulled…total cash grab product from Topps which is disappointing.

Buy at your own risk! Watched multiple case breaks online. Players may have had good to excellent big league careers but their hobby value is zip! Another huge failure of these one hit wonder packs that Topps puts out.. I have made the huge mistake on buying this type of Topps product in the past. Even busted sealed cases and got almost nothing. Lesson learned and I will not be wasting my money on this product. Good luck if you do. Go pull that Coco Crisp or Bill North autograph!

No way I’d pay more than about $15 for a box. Just wait and snag someone you want off of ebay for $5 to $10.

The problem with this product is that all of those HOFers or future HOFers on this list probably signed 40 cards total. So you’ll have your 1/1’s and then 1/5, and then up to 32 or something. But what you’re more than likely to receive for your $50 is some minor Star like a Coco Crisp or a Dave Steib Auto. They are more than likely numbered 1/500, 1/250, 1/100, etc. etc. Topps pays them $3 a signature and the other guys like $75-100 each. So what do you really think you’ll get? A total gamble in every way. But good luck if you like this sort of thing!

Nice collection of players, 17 possible Oakland/KC A’s, 4 Tigers and 2 Giants. Would have liked to have seen Lou Whitaker since Topps finally included Alan Trammell. Going to be busy!

The issue with these products is that the checklist is a total lie. There are prob 100 more players that are so unknown and who cares that they don’t add them to the checklist and then you pull this player and are like WHAT!?!

Looks pricy. Any word on the cost of a card/pack/box?
