2019 Score Football Cards

Do the Black and Green parallels exist for EPIX cards? I can’t seem to find evidence of these being for sale anywhere on EBAY or Beckett…

My 9yr old son wanted to buy a hobby box to get 4 autos. He doesn’t care who it is usually but hopes that it is someone he has heard of. He was hugely disappointed when he only got 3 autos and they were undrafted players. In the past couple of years we get one hobby box and then try and complete a base set with hangers and fat packs. I don’t think we will bother this year.

Strong Point-Player names and teams prominently shown with NO silver foil. Bad side is no pizazz on the front and lack of info on back (Height, Weight, College, etc.) The 2018 cards were much better.

I like the looks. Hoping to see a set on day, releasing cards of kickers,punters, guards, center, etc…

Retail packs I believe

A solid product, the cards look great in hand. They really capture the 1989 feel. Some good old time collecting – only thing wish back had more bio on them – Must be something to do with more privacy laws today

I usually grab a bunch of packs as they are usually cheap and this years design is a winner but with the rookie class being down this year at least for offensive players I’ll most likely just grab a factory Donruss set like I do every year and call it a day.

I have solved them mystery of the retail color parallels (base and inserts). Black is gravity packs. Red is fat packs. Purple is hangar boxes. Green is retail packs from 24 pack box.
Gold is from Blaster boxes. (Trey, could you add that info to the parallel cards section?). I rated the product at 3 stars, the base cards are just OK, however the insert sets have really nice designs and appearance for the most part. There are too many parallels though. I collect number #12 the GOAT and Tom is in 4 insert sets and with a base and 5 parallels, do the math that comes out to 26 insert cards and 15 for the base cards, thats 41 cards I need for my collection for just ONE player! CRAZY…. And we know that Panini will roll out about 50 products this year so I will need to get at least 500 cards for my 2019 Brady collection…..

What is all the complaining about this is a lower end set with lots of cards. Maybe you won’t get rich but if David Blough becomes the next Tom Brady……..

Wow! Second post on this product line – mainly due to all the other posts. Does anyone at Panini read the content of this page? If so, do they care? I doubt it…laughing all the way to the bank. After reading comments and viewing some box breaks, maybe it’s time for collectors to start pressuring the NFLPA (who endorses the cards with their logo) and Panini. All things considered, I will drop some cash on some HIT products if I want undrafted rookies and scrubs…this way Panini doesn’t get my cash. Final word: show Panini they suck buy leaving this product sitting on the shelves…for more buybacks 30 years from now. Rant? You bet! The Emperor Has No Clothes…there it’s been said…and it’s sad

but two years ago I opened a box of Score and I got a nice shiny Patrick Mahomes auto of 20 and another one not numbered in the same box..
made out prety good
so if there is another Patrick Mahomes wannabe in this year you could get lucky like I did

also got numbered Gold zone (what is Gold zone in football?

and artists proof? which artist? It doesnt say.. why does he/she need proof? of what?

way too many inserts… what is the point of so many different inserts… do people actually want to collect cards of players in a huddle ?why?

More hot garbage from Poopini. Opened 4 boxes. Of the 16 autos 12 were undrafted players. What a waste ! Ouch

Opened a box out of nostalgia and only had 3 autos in the box. The box promises 4 autos. 2 of our 3 autos were of undrafted players. Not sure if we were shorted an auto or Panini Points but the $100 box only returned about $20 in total value. Save yourself the time and money and just flush a $50 bill down the toilet. Thank me later.

what is the deal with the Black, Gold, Green, Purple, Red (not the #’d ones) base parallels? over the last few years I don’t know that I have even seen one of these. Do they exist?

Broke two boxes from a new case and hard to believe but out of 8 autos four were the same and needless to say they were not Kyler Murray

$100 + for Score football an April/May product. Cashing in off the draft excitement. The class on paper is weak. Yikes.

These are cards for the fans. Yes, the Hobby box price is high, but the cards look nice and have a nice old-school appearance. Definitely nicer looking than last year.

I don’t mind $100 a box for 4 Autos, but i do mind not being able to find any top tier rookie autos in them. So far in 2019 Kyler Murray Autos run 1 per 30-40 cases. And top Tier are about 5. If they were found in every 2-3 cases Score would be $400 a box. That is the true injustice here. Where are these Autos , who is getting the print runs with those autos. I see them listed on ebay but have watched over 60 cases opened. I saw a dual murray/mayfield auto /5 and 1 murray RC Auto. both out of Prizm. Last year it was the same in Score and other pre season products. Mayfield and Barkley were 1 in 10 cases. Ever since Pat Mahomes . Panini won’t release anything that has potential to explode. This is no longer a hobby , its a crime

Wow as a Ravens fan this set is terrible!! The Ravens have 10 veteran base cards in “the biggest set of the year” but 6 of them no longer play for the Ravens. Very disappointing since this is a 2019 set and are really only getting 4 veteran cards out of 330……

not bad for a low end product. fun to break with all of the rookies aswell as the parrallels. $100 for a hobby box is a bit much for a supposed lower end product but at least there are 4 autos in it. I pulled a real low numbered parrallel auto of a Seahawk TE will dissly last year. knew nothing about him then but I sure do now. score is always a fun break. The 30 year buyback autos have me thinking of a beautiful Barry Sanders rc.

Wait for it…Wait for it…nah, I’ll pass on this one and hope Prestige or another Panini release is better. Panini has taken the “thrill” out of the hunt. Never thought I’d say this, but bring back Topps football (yikes!)

Over $100 per Hobby Box for a Score product? I’m going blind seeing this price tag. The cards do look relatively nice & there’s lots of inserts/choices but $100+ per box seems way overpriced.

I do like the 400 cards per Hobby Box though. Can’t remember off the top of my head how many cards where in 2018 Score Football Hobby Boxes but I was thinking the same amount. I only bought a Blaster Box for 2018 though. I think I gave $29.99 for that last year.

I do remember the Hobby boxes were just under $100($95-$99) upon release for 2018 but the price went up fast for the 2018 Score Football Card boxes. The main reason was all the rookies & especially rookies of Mayfield, Barkley, Jackson, Chubb, & Michel. Plus all the rookie inserts that were available as well.

I might stick with the Blaster Box option again for 2019 unless I see quite a bit of people pulling nice Hits from the Hobby Boxes. The only difference I see in 2019 Hobby Boxes compared to 2018 is the 1 Stamped Buyback included. Thanks.
