Turning the popular Donruss Elite insert into a standalone NFL product, 2019 Panini Passing the Torch Football debuts with a hit-based approach.
Each five-card box includes three autographs and sells for $150. The new brand is exclusive to Panini's online store.
2019 Panini Passing the Torch Football Base
2019 Panini Passing the Torch Football uses the insert's history to make the base set a little different than most. Collectors can "complete the torch" with dual-sided cards designed to showcase a veteran or former player with a young star or rookie.
Each box should have one numbered base card and base parallel.
2019 Panini Passing the Torch Football Autographs
Obviously, the 2019 Panini Passing the Torch Football checklist features the namesake autograph inserts. This includes Passing the Torch Duals, Passing the Torch Triples, and Passing the Torch Quads autograph cards.
Multi-signed cards average 1:4 boxes or three per case.
Among the other possible autographs, Rookie Evolution Autographs and Apprentice Ink both deal with rookies
There's also Torch Marks for former NFL greats. These autographs come in Silver (#/50), Gold (#/25), Green (#/10) and Platinum (1/1) parallels. In addition, the Torchbearer Signatures set offers another chance for autographs from retired players.
