Officially-licensed coins with a trading card-like format and style return via 2019 Baseball Treasure II MLB coins.

The second edition of the "hit coins" set mixes in options from the initial run in 2018 along with new subjects. Sticking with the main layout from before, the "heads" side displays a portrait image alongside the player's name and position, while the "tails" side has an action image and notable career moment.

2019 Baseball Treasure II MLB Coins Set Details

Issued in a blind version similar to a baseball card pack, the 2019 Baseball Treasure II MLB coins checklist includes 30 subjects. Of that total, 13 are brand new options, such as Kris Bryant, Ichiro, Ronald Acuna Jr., and Shohei Ohtani. Bryce Harper was in the debut with the Nationals and now he is back with the Phillies.

The remaining 17 subjects come from the original lineup. However, the display mount for each coin is different from last year, and now the coin can stand up on its own. Once the supply of the First Edition coins is depleted, new versions will be produced.

2019 Baseball Treasure II MLB Coins 2

As was the case in 2018, the hunt is back on for rare parallels with real gold and silver. Silver versions (1 oz. of .999 fine silver) are a bit easier at 1:216 packs, and the Gold subject is Mike Trout at 1:19,000 packs.

The 2019 Baseball Treasure II MLB coins set also has some other names to rotate in as the season progresses, including Blake Snell.

Packs are sold at various card shops, Modell's locations and the National Baseball Hall of Fame. They will soon be available at 7-Eleven stores, as well. Those who prefer not to risk pulling their favorite team can find new "Open Pack" versions at MLB ballparks but these don't feature the Silver or Gold parallels.

Estimated Release Date: March/April 2019

not as good as last year. The new card while is more colorful, the flip aspect cheapens it somewhat as not as thick. The coin overpowers it. (3 stars) Biggest complaint is the use of the same coins as last year. Then the new ones do not have a date on them( 2 stars). But kudos to the packaging, new blister packs are far better than the plain wrap from last year(5 stars)

I loved the first edition of these hit coins and the release of Baseball Treasure II just reaffirmed that. The coins are beautifully designed and made and the addition of the built in kick stand is genius. I couldn’t be more excited about the new additions to the checklist, especially the hunt for the Mike Trout gold! Whether you’re a hard core collector or just a baseball fan, I really encourage giving these coins a shot!
