2018 Upper Deck Goodwin Champions Trading Cards

This set is really cool! Love it and I try to make all sub set!! Really hard!! Is someone know the odd for the blank back cards? They’re not in the check list! Also the 3d lenticular base are not in the check list! If someone update this check list it will be amazing:)

I bought a box to see what was available and was hugely disappointed. Got a $2 autograph card and a jersey of an unknown hockey player maybe worth another $2.

All the other cards were of unknowns ? Not much to recommend about this project

Used to be a christmas hoghlight opening a case. Gets worse every year. Jusr checked the “hits” on ebay $ 183 out of a 1000 buck case. Is the business in this much trouble ? Highlight: map of toronto relic (seriously) opened 2 cases last year same results. Im not an online buster so maybe a retail online customer gets this every time he buys a case. Used to be a great hobby.

I’m a big Goodwin epack fan as I’ve spent almost $10-$15K opening packs over the past 2-3 years..I’ve pulled a lot of great stuff inc. a 2016 Ben Simmons Inscription (sold for $4000) and a 2016-17 Ben Simmons Exquisite which I sold for $8000..but this year is different…way different…I watch what’s been pulled from the trading pages and since 2018 Goodwin has been released, I have yet to see even ONE Ben Simmons Patch Exquisite Auto pulled..there are 99 of them, and you’d think after almost 250 cases (as of Nov 9, 2018) that have been opened by customers that you’d see at LEAST one. I run a website for a living so I’m always online and I’m always checking the Goodwin pages to see if any have been pulled over the past 2-3 weeks since it’s been released…I check every hour or two and i have not seen one pulled…I’m surprised nobody has posted about this…it looks like Upper Deck is holding back all the Ben Simmons Exquisites from this year…I know it’s still early and it’s been 250 cases, but 500-600 cases sold last year before selling out and 28-30 Exquisite Ben Simmons were pulled…this year as of 250 cases you’d think there would be 10-15 pulled, but none have see the light of day…Why Upper Deck appears to be scamming..er uh holding back the huge chase pull from 2018 Goodwin is the big question..

Okay, four stars may seem high to most, but here’s where I’m coming from: I’m a niche collector. I follow the LPGA, and I can find those players in Goodwin Champions. I’m not looking for a Jordan or Gretzky auto, although I would be happy as hell to pull either one (mostly Gretzky). I love that there is one company (albeit with many faults) that makes cards of female golfers. So I guess one man’s trash is another woman’s treasure. Thanks!

Some of the bounty cards have gone for stupid money. I have a feeling some of the harder to get ones will still be worth a decent amount unscratched in time. I have not seen that many of them up or they are being listed very badly.

Packs with only 2 cards. Hits missing from boxes. Entire cases with low end junk. Waste of $$.

This is what I have been saying about upper deck. Use to be the best card producer for value period. Now, the worst period. They have great players locked up on contracts and us the collectors have to suffer from it. They are just a big corporate company now and the president doesn’t care about you. Heck, they give better cards to their employees. Oh, watch out for the customer service. If you get a certain woman, you will know what I am talking about. I have boycotted all their products.

There was a time when Upper Deck put out beautiful, quality cards. Since they lost the NFL license they’ve just given up. What other company would ever consider a lenticular card a “hit”? Had I seen the odds listed above on the premium hits before purchasing this I would have stuck with a Topps product. Jordan auto inserted 1:211,000 packs? You can’t be serious. For a company that owns the signature and memorabilia rights to some of the most elite athletes in sports to put out junk like this is disgraceful.

This product is straight trash. Trying to be A&G and falling flat on their face. Card stock feels like trash, the Subjects are all abstract, the Relics and Autos were just pure comedy.

Do yourself a favor , save yourself some gas and just light $100 bill on fire at your house. I assure you will have a much better time.

Do not buy this garbage. I bought an 8 box inner case and only got 2 auto cards and 2 hits per box in 5 boxes which are mostly maps. The autos are garbage too. Upper Deck is a cheat and this will be the last time i will ever buy their product. Also, there was no junglebook booklet in my case. Cheat and liars. Very unhappy. Stay away!!

Hey, did anyone notice that on the Boxes, Upper Deck misspelled the word ‘Achievement’. They left the letter ‘e’ out of the word. Great job Upper deck. That should NEVER happen.

One box, one great hit, a Gretzky 3D Lenticular Bounty redemption, 1:4,320 packs. Be careful out there; people are listing 3D short prints with lesser odds (although still tough pulls) as Bounty cards. The latter have a scratch-off on back. The others do not.

I love this product…most of the time I don’t get anything good…but thats okay because I know exactly what I buying here. The issue with other products that topps and panini release are that you chase these cards and end up spending tons of money but still get nothing. The frustration that comes from that is infuriating. At least with Goodwin you get the cool upper-deck designs and quality with the chance to get something rare. and if not…whatever..it’s not that much of an investment to begin with.

Same thing I was thinking. Why wouldnt you want the biggest name you have in your arsenal to not be on the checklist? Since this is 1 of 2 card releases of UD for a potential Lebron auto I was really looking forward to it. Not anymore if this is the case. Very disappointed

The checklist that would not end, WAY WAY WAY too much crap here!!!! I gave to 2 Stars since it does have Jordan autos, but I wont be buying a pack!!!

Same with this how can the destroy historic first editions of rare books just for a card.

Hi Trey, So as an update to 2018 Goodwin Champs, Jake and Ollie from On The Bench are signers for this set. I had 2 minute interviews with both of them and confirmed they will be in Goodwin Champs.
