The 2018 Upper Deck Fall Expo Hockey promo set carries on a tradition of exclusive UD cards at the Sport Card & Memorabilia Expo in Canada.
In fact, Upper Deck issues new sets for each spring and fall Expo. The limited wrapper redemption packs are earned by making select Upper Deck box purchases at the show.
2018 Upper Deck Fall Expo Hockey Promo Set Details
Although previous releases offered an exclusive parallel for Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey, the base set in 2018 Upper Deck Fall Expo Hockey is a Midnight parallel for 2018 Upper Deck Team Canada Juniors Hockey. The 100-card set is capped at just 50 copies per card.
Chase inserts within the 2018 Upper Deck Fall Expo packs include Victory Black Rookies for many of the carryover rookies. Going back a little more, the CHL Day with the Cup set features five subjects from the OHL's London Knights in honor of their 2016 Memorial Cup win.
There are also Parkhurst Priority Signings autograph cards for key rookies and young stars. Parkhurst Priority Signing Exclusives offers some of the biggest names and lowest print runs. These are normally reserved for those opening cases of designated sets.
In addition to the Fall Expo, these exclusive packs were initially provided at the L’Anti Expo in Montreal (October 13-14, 2018).
The 2018 Fall Sport Card & Memorabilia Expo takes place at The International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario from November 9 to 11. The official Expo website has complete details regarding directions, tickets and autograph signers.
