4 auto, 4 relics, sick rookie and ok base…..on the surface, well worth the $….beautiful cards, tons of potential….but Barea, Huerter, Issel, Okogie = wtf. Gross. It’s like bottom shelf Immaculate.

Opened a case of this (my 2nd time this season), I find this product average due to the price point and with the ff reasons:

1) Design – was great. It gave this crisp feeling and the novelty as a premium product. Higher than most Panini products like Prizm, but lower than a National Treasure.

2) Veteran player selection – terrible. Avoid bench warmers and include at least starters from each team. Future hall of famers are ok, but I reckoned Enes Kanter, Tyreke Evans, Joe Ingles should not be included in this set. No offense to this players, but it taints the perceived product value. It is like adding donuts to your steak.

3) Autos – Mixed feelings. JR Smith, Rafer Alston, Courtney Lee and other veterans who were not All Stars or future Hall of Famers have no business in this product. Rookie autos are ok since it is part of the collecting world each year and glad that Dominion tend to have at least one on each box.

4) Collation – Mixed feelings. From the case I got there are some good collation, on others it was simply terrible for a $300 box. They should put good equal amount of value for money cards and the best way is to not include junk players (no offense)

5) Hits I got – top 3 were Giannis auto, Bill Russell auto and Trae Young metal RC. $1800 for this won’t even add up.

Overall: Average Product due to the high price tag of $300. If this was around $200 then it is worth it.

Way too many sticker autos for a $300 box

Hey there Trey,

First off thank you for all your hard work and keep it up! I wanted to ask… I know you post the checklists as soon as you get them and the delay is not coming from your end, but is there a reason why Panini is so slow and delayed in their release of checklists. With the card community turning toward case and group breaks, I would think it more financially beneficial to give breakers a heads up.

I think Revolution was the first on card autos from this year wasn’t it?
