2014-15 Panini Eminence Basketball Hot List
There are expensive products and then there is 2014-15 Panini Eminence Basketball. While the price puts these out of reach for most collectors, Eminence does not skimp in any facet. In addition to the standard high-end attributes, the biggest inclusion to many of the cards is the embedded troy ounces of silver, gold or platinum.
With seven to ten cards per box and a price tag of around $6,000+, Eminence is the epitome of extravagance, even in today's high-end hobby. Reserved for collectors with very deep pockets, most can only look. However, with a variety of themes and styles, there is plenty to see.
Make no mistake, Panini Eminence is a very late entry for 2014-15 sets. While the 2015-16 NBA season has been in swing for several months, the premium product looks back to the previous season that officially ended in June. This means that there is not anyone from the new rookie class. Instead, rookie collectors can find the last options for the class led by Andrew Wiggins and Jabari Parker.
In terms of the actual checklist, there is a good selection of Hall of Fame talent mixed with current basketball stars. Most options follow a similar design that includes on-card autographs and normally either a jersey patch or chunk of precious metal. Admittedly busy, the precious metal cards put a lot into one card. While not the most visually pleasing, they still pack a serious punch.
Adding more crossover appeal, the Cut Signature checklist has a broader reach with names from other sports and genres, including Elvis Presley, Babe Ruth, Abraham Lincoln and Harry Houdini in addition to traditional basketball names such as Pete Maravich and Wilt Chamberlain. It's easy to question the reason to have so many non-basketball subjects, but the concept is not all that uncommon these days.
Providing a snapshot of what cards are seeing the most interest from collectors, the following list populates the most-watched 2014-15 Panini Eminence Basketball auctions on eBay. The list is constantly updating so check back often to see the newest cards to surface.

OUCH this is really not good when you make cards like this I hate them and the whole idea was bad !!!! this is the type of thing that just messes up the hobby ,Ban Panini ?? no, it might work in baseball and football for 1 card per pack and a 600.00 price but not too much .I would rather spend that kind of money on a mickey mantle, Jordan,Curry rookies,50s vintage all sports .
I was thinking too all the players not cuts .have autographs in other stuff a lot cheaper !! how many autographs do you need ?
