2012 Leaf Metal Draft Baseball follows a similar pattern to last year's set, giving prospectors plenty of ink from the game's up-and-coming players.
2012 Leaf Metal Draft Baseball is an all-autograph release with each single-pack box delivering eight on-card signatures. The checklist includes 28 first round picks from the 2012 MLB Draft. The company is also including other top prospects and international stars. Albert Pujols and Pete Rose appear in the set as well. Besides regular autographs, Pujols has a series of signed jumbo patch cards, similar to the Ichiro cards included in 2011 Leaf Metal Draft. The Angels slugger also has a limited number of inscribed autographs.
All cards in 2012 Leaf Metal Draft Baseball have colorful Prismatic parallels: Blue, Green, Red and Super Gold Prismatic. Cards will also have Prismatic Pink parallels included in 2012 Leaf Rookie Retro Baseball. Random hot boxes include only colored parallels. These boxes are marked.
