Product Details

User Rating:

2012 Leaf History of Baseball Cut Signature Edition uses a massive checklist to give collectors a value-driven release. Every box comes with a cut signature autograph. Like other Leaf cut signature products, all cards come encapsulated in a BGS holder.

Although not every card is a high-end hit, 2012 Leaf History of Baseball Cut Signature Edition gives collectors the chance of finding autographs from all-time greats like Babe Ruth, Cy Young, Lou Gehrig and Roberto Clemente. The release also has lots of other Hall of Famers, All-Stars and award winners. With such a large checklist (Leaf is promising the biggest ever for a cut signature release), not all autographs are from deceased players.

Product Configuration: 1 card per box

User Reviews

As much as I enjoyed getting a good player auto for $30, next could be a huge let down auto for $30. There are some great auto cuts out there, but with no other cards, you get one and that is it! I bought 2 boxes, got a 1960s minor star and a 1970s little know player. I could have done better spending $60 elsewhere. But I could be saying this is the greatest product if I would have pulled a Mantle cut…so it is a toss up at a 3 rating.

I agree the price was reasonable. Along with any product you need some luck on pulling anything worthwhile. I usually buy a few boxes and rate it from there. Well I purchased a total of 4 packs/boxes. This is what I pulled…

First one when it first came out was a George Foster. Not bad. Waited a week for a sale. Bought 3. Second pull was a Hank Aaron. I was a little happy with that one until I saw how many there were on eBay. Third pull was Bruce Kison and the best one of all my pulls was saved for last. One in which I haven’t seen on eBay. My best pull in this product was Ted Williams. Based on my pulls i had considered buying a case. But after watching a case break on Youtube I had a change of heart.

At first thought junk, all no names, until I got hinky Haines from the 1923 Yankees. Was also a nfl player from the giants. won championships in both sports. Awesome bio on him. Has to be a rare, low #d hit

This product is a joke. Who wants a signature of a player that is from a check? They are extremely plain and are only worth the gamble of getting someone big which is the only reason I bought them.

The checklist is extensive due to the fact that almost all of the cuts are from living players. I feel cuts should be exclusive to deceased players. The only thing preventing this product from getting 1 star is the fact that the price is very reasonable.
