Product Details

User Rating:

Something that has largely been looked over in modern wrestling cards are the story lines that make it all work. Topps is aiming to change that with 2011 Topps WWE Champions. The series recaps a year beginning at Wrestlemania XXVI and running through Wrestlemania XXVII this past April, capturing such moments as Alberto Del Rio's debut, the return of Diesel at the Royal Rumble and CM Punk taking reigns of Nexus. The minimalist full-bleed design is reminiscent of Topps' under-appreciated WWE Action set from 2007. Insert offerings are slim, limited to foil cards and autographs. The preliminary signature checklist includes yet another John Cena, who seems to sign for every Topps set, as well as Sheamus, Randy Orton, the Miz and others.
