Honoring the past and present, Panini's Timeless Treasures brand is making the leap to the gridiron. The high-end set includes five cards per single-tin box, three of which are numbered autograph and memorabilia cards. Old-time football fans may be excited about the inclusion of Jim Thorpe and others in cut signature materials cards. Another highlight are the Game Day Souvenirs game-used cards that specify the exact game the jersey came from. 2011 Timeless Treasures Football is scheduled for release on September 7.

I maybe biased because of my tin of timeless treasures, but I pulled one of the monsters of the set. Tom Brady 1/1 Championship season prime material signatures #7. Also in the tin was a Cam Newton auto.. Pretty killer.
