1962-63 Parkhurst Hockey Cards

1962-63 Parkhurst Hockey featured two types of player designs. They also have an insert card in packs as well as the first checklist card in the brand's history.
The first design features a player picture superimposed in front of a two-color solid background. The background color differs but is topped with the first letter of the city name of his team. A black box below the player contains the card number and a facsimile autograph. The second 1962-63 Parkhurst Hockey design hass the player inside a graphic puck. A team logo is either on above the puck or on it and the card number appears in a lower corner. Backs feature a facsimile autograph across the top, followed by the player's name. Vital stats and lifetime record follow in English, with a French translation of the info below that.
The set features players from three NHL team. With 18 cards for each team, 1962-63 Parkhurst Hockey has 54 cards. There were also two unnumbered cards inserted into the wax packages that year. Neither card has any graphics, and simply has text in English on one side and French on the other. One card is a checklist, which is referred to as a Tally card. The other is a Zip card, which was a contest entry for one of 20 bicycles. The sender had to guess the total number of goals would be scored by all the teams during the regular hockey season.
Notable 1962-63 Parkhurst Hockey rookies include Bobby Rousseau, Gilles Tremblay and J.C. Tremblay.
